Wire & Twine is a small US label with an emphasis on well-designed graphic tees with a mature sense of style.  There is a down-to-earth atmosphere about the entire company, from the wood-and-paper layout to the refurbished barn turned printing studio.  Their attitude is unpretentious and lacks that rebellious hipster/teenager flavor.  Profits from select designs go to charities like Locks of Love. They also sell a number of designs which previously lacked homes in a store, such as the well-known “The Battle” shirt by Nerduo.

Wire & Twine’s designs touch on a number of themes, from subtle pop culture references to gadget diagrams to typography to environmental consciousness.  There are even shirts dedicated to hair and beard styles!  I enjoy the variety and the restrained way in which the designs are presented.

All designs are printed on American Apparel, with most available for both men and women.
