Unknown Artifact is a “creative outlet” for CJ, an art and print enthusiast — it is not a brand in the traditional sense. The designs are not tied together by branding or a cohesive theme, but are rather whatever CJ felt like designing and printing, which is why they’re all over the place in terms of style and subject matter. Right now, there are only six shirts available. The design of the shop is somewhat confusing in that the men’s, women’s, and kid’s shirts are all mashed together on the default page, with no indication that certain shirts are only available in certain cuts. So it’s kind of disappointing to click on the Albert Einstein shirt, for example, and find that it’s only available for kids.
A fairly minor complaint, though — it’s hard to beat decent designs on American Apparel for only $12!

Good designs are let down by their being just a few on offer. Literally, just three in mens. The website is also a little amateur and doesn’t inspire trust.
