Tilteed is a new and very promising design contest. Another design contest you may ask? Yes, you’d be right there are far too many. This one is also from the USA and its hard to tell you why its different to the others. Still it does have some decent early designs. Winners will get $500 and $1 per shirt sold which is more than at some similar sites.
Shirts: $12 during pre-order period. $18 normal price.
Shipping: $2 flat-rate shipping domestic and international. Now that’s a good deal.

Great prices, great designs, nuff said
Top notch printing. I have a couple shirts from Tilteed that would be considered oversized prints by most tee stores and they look great. Big prints fill almost the whole shirt, and inks are light enough that the shirt feels fine despite having so much area covered. Details print nicely. Shirts are a great deal if you get them during pre-order, though you’ll have to wait a couple weeks for it. Communication is very prompt. Smaller selection than some stores and only 1 new design a week, but the ones they do pick are generally very good with lots of variety too.
My shirts arrived a few weeks late due to Tilteed’s move to a new printing shop, but I can hardly fault them for it — it’s clear that Patrick is dedicated to his business and won’t allow it to fall into a Teextile-like rut when it comes to shipping times. The shirts are American Apparel and are printed exceptionally well. You can preorder a new design for $12 (+ the reasonable price of $2 for shipping), which is an incredibly good deal when you consider the quality of the designs and blanks. However, after the first week they go up to $18 per shirt, so get your order in quick!
The designs are well-selected, and I’ve yet to see a Tilteed design that makes me wonder, “How the hell did they pick that for print?!”. There is a great variety of art styles and a number of prominent names are featured in the lineup, including those of wotto, radiomode, and a.mar.illo.
I highly, highly recommend Tilteed. Despite their new status, I’d say they are already becoming one of the best contest sites out there.
