About The Valve Store
I don’t usually feature shirts for licensed properties, but Valve Software has gone above and beyond the call of duty with their merchandise. Unlike most official video game tees, these designs are more than just a logo and official box art. They feature unique artwork that — believe it or not — looks designed for a shirt, sometimes with daring placement. As a result, these tees look pretty damn impressive. If you’re a fan of Left 4 Dead, Half-Life 2, Portal, or any of Valve’s many excellent games, you’ll love their t-shirts. As a plus, many of their newer tees are printed on American Apparel for extra softness and comfort.
On the downside, their shipping is pretty expensive. However, that isn’t a worry if you plan to buy a lot, because they offer free shipping on orders of $50 or more!
Shirts: $19.95
Shipping: Starts at $10 for US shipping.

The Red shirt you see on the store with the toilet bowl is not ‘RED’ at all…the quality of the shirt is super low
The tags where the shirts originally came was ripped off then replaced with a printed logo of valve…
quality wise….very low knowing that it is VALVE selling these shirts
I bought two shirts from valve and was super excited when they arrived but when I saw it……….woooopsie I cant wear this outside of the house.
http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=C0300 (this is not red)
http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=C0100 (the quality of this in the store is nice but when you actually see this TADAH!)
As they say “when the price is low, the quality is also low”
I found the stuff I bought at the valve store to be of surprisingly good quality. The t-shirts are very comfortable and durable, atleast to me the quality is actually above the average t-shirt you’d find in well known brand stores in Sweden.
I bought a huge package of 3 t-shirts, 3 posters and a black mesa mug about a year ago, and they’re still in good shape. I mean, more than a year of thorough use, and none of the prints have flaked off, so it’s all great and I have no complaints about quality, and honestly, 20 dollars for a good quality t-shirt isn’t that bad if you buy big bundles to make the shipping worth it.
Also, dont be afraid to buy video game themed stuff, most people think they are freaking cool, and it identifies you as a fan. Atleast I’ve gotten a lot of “Hey, cool! Team fortress ftw!”. But then I go to a game developing uni so everyone here’s a nerd. =D
For UK customers at least be aware that you will be fleeced by UK customs because Valve does not put the freight charges on the invoice that UK Customs receive. Consequently customs estimated the delivery charges at approx 80 US dollars. You then pay import tax on the extra 60 dollars (Valve delivery charge is 20 dollars)
Bottom line is probably only an extra 10 dollars in import charges but annoyed me as it seems unfair.
Apologies to Valve if this is actaully the fault of DHL courier.
Can’t complain, $20 shipping via UPS to australia is good for all the stuff I got. If you order big shipping is pretty cheap as internationally it’s a flat rate.
They have a lot of cool stuff, however all of it is really expensive and the shirts aren’t the best quality. To make things worse there is a minimum $10 for shipping, more if your not in the US.
