About the-affair
the-affair is a literature-inspired streetwear brand from the UK. It was started after the founders got tired of bland hip-hop references on their streetwear tees. As far as the literature theme goes, the-affair goes for subtler, more abstract representations of singular quotes as opposed to blatant references to literary works. Their designs incorporate a lot more typography and modern graphic design trends than most other literature-inspired brands.
All of the-affair’s shirts are a limited edition of 200, and don’t get reprinted after they sell out. Their blanks are custom-made.

A very strong literary themed brand. Slick website and a real premium feel right down to the custom blanks. While a number of designs have sold out, there is still plenty left to admire.
