About Teeproject
Teeproject is a new t-shirt design contest from Australia — it’s good to see these sites spring up in parts of the world that aren’t North America or Europe. If you’re familiar with Threadless and DBH, the concept behind this site should be old hat — artists submit their designs for the chance to get printed, and win money. In this case, Teeproject picks winners once a month, and those winners bag $500 AUD. So far the site seems to be doing well with selecting their designs — while it’s disappointing to see only one or two prints with more than one color, the overall quality of the illustrations is strong.
Right now the community is a bit small, but hopefully the prospect of cash prizes will draw in more artists and enthusiasts in the future!

There are so many design contests it’s hard for the fringe players to gather enough moment to separate themselves from the pack. At present Teeproject doesn’t have it, but it’s new on the scene.
