About Split Reason
Split Reason are a very decent US based nerd site offering “gear for geeks and gamers”. You’ll get the injokes if you’re a gamer now, or are into classic games as a lot of the shirts pull references from the Mario/Zelda series right back to Nintendos Game Genie and Zapper gun shirts that you can see up in the top left in the shirt gallery.
Also interestingly they have an idea submission area where you can submit not just designs but sketches or just text ideas, which is a nice touch and certainly opens up the contest angle to people not so good with graphics.
Shirts: approx $18.95, but also a reduced section where they are $10
Shipping: $4.95 domestic each additional shirt $1.15, $8.95 international with each additional shirt $1.35.

I am a new and satisfied customer of Splitreason.com.. my first order consisted of two shirts, two stickers and a poster. (the poster was what initiated my shopping the site)
The prices are about the same as the rest of the hipster t-shirt makers, out there.. y’know.. slightly ridiculous - but for those on a budget, you can always stick to their clearance section, where the shirts are often more than 50% off.
They do have a long-term promotional code, however.. if you do a search and find it
(10% off!) I can see myself buying something there again.. I will probably also submit some designs.
Seems like a good group of people to get mixed up with.. check it out.
Splitreason has a lot of clever gaming-related designs, but their shipping is slow and expensive (esp. if you order multiple items) and most of the designs I’d actually wear aren’t available for women. The women’s selection is pretty poor, period. They do supposedly use American Apparel, though one of my shirts came in as an Alstyle shirt that was much smaller than I expected. Overall not a bad site, maybe I’d buy from them more if I was a guy.
