Sober is Sexy is a US brand that makes it very clear as to what its objective is — and regardless of whether or not you lead a sober lifestyle, you have to admit that the people behind the brand have put a lot of effort into making the phrase it was named for true. These are shirts obviously aimed at those who are part of a loud party/social scene — the slogans are very straightforward and in-your-face, which may be off-putting for people (this blogger included) who live drug and alcohol free, but have no wish to impose that decision on others. For the most part, though, they stay away from overt preachiness and — if nothing else — may be provocative enough to stir up a conversation. Plus, 5% of the proceeds go to substance abuse organizations, and brands which help causes are never a bad thing!

Its been a month and a half and I still have not seen my one shirt I ordered. After the month of waiting I emailed them. They said it should be here shortly and if it doesn’t show within a week please email us back and we will send you another one. Well, I did. They said they would send another one and it will arrive in another week. NEVER DID! I’m to nice of a guy honestly so I am going to wait this last week and if it doesn’t show I am calling them to confront them ( if I can even get a real person to talk to ) They are located in California right? Why would it take close to two months to send one shirt to Ga? It shouldn’t! I hope I can get a refund of 40$
My shirt arrived two weeks after I ordered and I ordered the wrong one. I emailed them asking what their exchange policy was and the girl was really rude, like she was doing me a favor even responding to me. Not professional, and definitely not sexy. Is the site run by a bunch of self proclaimed celebrities in high school?
The Delivery was very slow with the products I ordered, However I emailed them, and they emailed me back within the hour, explaining why the product took so long to arrive. They said it would arrive within the week and it did. The wait just made me appreciate the product so much more! I have to say that the quality of the product is Superb, and far superior to anything else I own.
I love Sober Is Sexy and am waiting to buy more clothes from them!

Sober Is Sexy has cool designs and I am a fan of the designers, but I am angry that I ever ventured to purchase something from them. I do nearly all of my clothes shopping online and I have never had to wait so long for something I ordered from a website. Actually, I placed an order with Sober is Sexy six weeks ago and still have not received anything. I am currently going through PayPal’s dispute service to try and get a refund, which I’m not having much luck with so far. Do yourself a favor, and don’t bother to order from them unless you like having your money taken and held onto for several months. I feel like the owe me my money back with interest!!!!
Does anyone know if there is a way to report them? I too have been lied to and deceived by this company. They are totally unprofessional. I sent an email after waiting 3 weeks for my order, got a response saying it was on it’s way. 2 weeks later sent another email and got one back asking what I ordered. Once I responded to that it was suddenly on it’s way again and was told I should have it in a week. I was offered no explanation or apology. When I pointed out how unprofessional it was I got a message that said “Cheers
” It’s total crap! AVOID this company at all costs. I doubt that the people running it are truly sober. Otherwise they wouldn’t manipulate the emotions of others & also realize what a joke they are turning an excellent message into.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME, I ORDERED A TANK TOP FROM THEM AND HERE I AM EXACTLY ONE MONTH LATER WITH NO TOP… I HAVE EMAILED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES ONLY TO RECEIVE A “IT WILL BE THERE SHORTLY” EMAIL IN RETURN AND WHEN I CALL THEM EVEN DURING THEIR SET BUSINESS HOURS IT GOES STRAIGHT VOICEMAIL WITH NO RETURN CALL A WEEK LATER… THEY ARE HORRIBLE IVE ENDED UP JUST COMING TO THE CONCLUSION I WILL NEVER SEE MY SHIRT OR MONEY… PISSES ME OFF ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY HAVE CELEBS MODELING THEIR STUFF YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD BE SOMEWHAT ACCOUNTABLE FOR SOMETHING… EVIDENTLY I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! NEVER ORDER ANYTHINGGGGGGG FROM THEM. EVER!
I purchased a shirt from this website over a month and a half ago. Still no product. I’ve emailed them at least 5 times asking where my stuff is, and all they wrote back was “wait time is in our FAQ section
” ….this doesnt help me when I have already waited for OVER a month for my product. I’ve never been scammed by a company who claims to donate a percentage of the proceeds to a good cause? This company is a JOKE and DO NOT EVER buy from them. They rob people and dont even give a sh!t otherwise……..
I ordered a shirt and a mug for my daughter that took forever to get delivered. And, then I see the company’s spokes-model tweeting about how badly she needs cigarettes!? What a hypocritical role-model!
I ordered a shirt and a mug from this company and 14 days later had not received anything. I emailed them and got no response. I emailed again and they emailed back that I probably didn’t complete my order. I emailed them proof of receipt and they said it takes up to 3 weeks for an order to arrive. I informed them that their website said out of the country orders are up to 3 weeks and US orders are up to 7 days. Im in California and so are they. The kid Bori, actually told me that my order still hadn’t been “picked up by UPS yet”. So basically after blaming me they decided to blame UPS. They didn’t take any responsibility or offer apologies. They refunded my $48. I liked their design and what they stood for but now I wouldn’t be caught dead in their shirt. I don’t want to advertise for their company.
No idea I could give ZERO stars. Sober is Sexy e-mailed on the 15th and said I should expect my item “soon.” Waited a week before asking again. Their next e-mail (rec’d 1/23) claims that it will be here in a week. How much do you want to bet that THAT will not be happening? We’re going on a month here… AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Ryder– same thing is happening to us. i emailed for status on order all i get is it’s there busy time.. strange. xmas is over. anyway the email i rec’d back from them today was the rudest customer service i’ve ever received. They told me they enjoyed laughing at my frustrations. I’m extremely disappointed and I too feel like i will never see my shirts i ordered for my daughter or my $78 ever again. So sad that the world of customer service has going so down hill. I feel like there is nothing i can do. Except deal with my daughter’s disappointment and explain to her that sometimes we just can’t trust people.
I ordered a top from Sober Is Sexy 3 weeks ago and haven’t gotten anything yet. No confirmation, no tracking, just a confirmed Paypal transaction that they took my money. I tried calling their customer service number multiple times this weekend but no one answered. Looked at their Twitter account and other people seem to have the same complaints! I don’t know what it is about this company…I love their stuff, but I’m starting to think I’ll never see my tank! Really disappointed.
