About Shirt Woot
The store most requested to be added to the directory, which shows you a little bit about their popularity. A spin of from the main woot site offering one shirt, for one day only for $10. We didn’t used to be huge fans of most of the designs, they’re simple, nice enough but not really outstanding a lot of the time although they do have the occasional gem. But now, well in the past one year they really matured. Now there are a lot of great designs and designers peddling their wares there. Far superior to rival Teefury which relies too heavily on cheap pop culture mashups. If you miss a shirt you really like theres a chance you can still grab it from the archives, but they are culled regularly of unpopular designs, if you buy a shirt later its $15. Shipping is free in the US so for $10 you’re unlikely to get a high quality sweatshop free shirt.
Shirts: $10 for their main day in the spotlight, $15 if you grab them from the archive.
Shipping: Free in the US. A very reasonable $8 for International orders.

Love this site. Have gotten multiple shirts from them and just bought another. The designs are hit or miss but there are some really great ones.
I live in Canada and was wondering why it was taking so long for my Woot shirt to get to me… Imagine my surprise when I got it and saw that it was postmarked from Malmo, Sweden. I am pretty sure Woot could have figured out a more direct way to send this to me. At least I hope so.
I ordered a ladies XL (usually I just order a men’s M because men’s sizes are fairly constant while women’s sizes are variable) and it is kind of snug. Also the print is too high up on the shirt.
I ordered from them because I really liked the design (“Oh, Shiny”) and have got a “5 Second Rule” shirt coming.. but all in all can’t really give them a great rating,
Shipping takes a long time relative to other sites, but it’s free. Price is awesome; 10 bucks for the shirt of the day, 15 for all others (free shipping). Limited selection that frequently changes, and the shirts that get taken off don’t come back.
shirt.woot.com is one of my daily t-shirt sites. During the week, they have a different shirt featuring random original designs. On the weekends, they sell the top three entries to their weekly “Derby” contest, where anyone can submit a design based on a selected “theme of the week”. Current shirts are very reasonably priced at $10, and you can look through older posts in the “Blog” to buy past shirts for $15 (assuming they aren’t sold out).
Shirts are printed on American Apparel blanks with a special shirt.woot tag replacing the American Apparel tag. The designs are big and cover more of the shirt than what I assumed from the pictures on their site.
Shipping via USPS is free, or overnight shipping is available for $5. Shipping time is variable. I have had shirts arrive within a week, and others take 3 weeks to arrive. Shirts are sent in a special plastic bag with “shirt.woot” emblazoned on the outside.
The whole woot.com site has a very active and vocal community. If you go to the “Community” area and click on the “shirt side deals”, you can find lots of people posting coupon/discount codes for various t-shirts sites. And of course, voting for the weekend shirts in the “Derby” area is fun.
Overall, this is a site to visit daily to find new and original designs, not to buy a bunch of different shirts in one order. While you can sometimes order older designs from the “Blog”, it’s not exactly easy to find a particular design. But if you like the current shirt, the price is right.
They are awesome. May take two weeks, but I’ve had it only take a week before. Always satisfied. Size runs normal. I’m a 36D with a little pudge and can usually fit in a Women’s Large comfortably and sometimes a Woman’s Medium. I check this site out along with it’s parent site (woot.com) daily.
Their designs can be hit and miss at times. If you like humor or pop culture reference in your shirts, shirt.woot might be a good fit for you. Pretty cheap price if you buy the shirt on its featured day.
Woot has some of the best prices+shipping around, and on American Apparel shirts to boot, but many of their designs leave a lot to be desired. I’m a girl and even I find some of the designs to be TOO cutesy or just plain boring. However, the shirts I’ve ordered from them are all of excellent quality and were well worth the price.
Designs are generally less “artsy” than some of the other user-submitted design sites. Print quality is quite good, as mentioned by others the ink isn’t very soft but not hard either. Free shipping is pretty slow, but the prices are excellent for american apparel shirts. I like to keep an eye out on Fri/Sat/Sun when the derby winning shirts go up for sale as I usually find them more interesting than the non-derby shirts.
The price is really good, and even the international shipping is cheap (but slow). The designs nowadays are not par to other shirt sites, but now or then you can get surprised with some great shirts. The print isn’t soft, but not harder than usual for a silk-screened shirt.
I used to really like shirt.woot. I also loved the weekly derbies in the beginning. After a while it seemed as though two specific people kept winning and since I was not a fan of their style of work, it made the derbies boring. I do like the older tees that I have purchased from them though. The tees are all printed on American Apparel (win!) and are only $10. Free shipping is rather slow, but it’s free, so I can’t complain. Print quality is great and none of my designs have ever cracked after washing. I do wish the large prints used softer ink though. Other than that, I’m satisfied with my purchases.
