About Print Liberation
Print Liberation has been around since 1999, and as is apparent from the quality of their design, was previously an advertising firm. Most of the shirts are very minimalistic, usually with nothing more than a single 1/2-color image or a short slogan. A lot of the slogan messages are politically liberal, while others feature openly vulgar language. That said, the type tees won’t be for everyone. Personally, I’m a big fan of the “Great Moments of the 20th Century” series, which includes shirts adorned with an old-school Mac and Woody Guthrie among other things. Overall, the brand has a mature and artistic look — but with bite!
On top of that, they have an option to create your own custom type tee with Print Liberation’s trademark font, though I find the $50 price tag to be a little overinflated. You can pick the shirt and ink color.
Most of the shirts are printed on unisex American Apparel tees, with environmentally-friendly waterbased inks.
