About Pattern & Shape
Abstract/modern art on its own doesn’t do much for me, so it’s hard to explain why I’m so attracted to it as a t-shirt design. Pattern & Shape is a design project in which the challenge was to design a shirt using a geometric shape and an incorporated pattern. The artists involved came from all over the world, from London to Shanghai. The resulting shirts are sublimely simple and use the assigned shapes in really creative patterns. The amazing thing is how unified the designs look, despite the variety in execution.
