About Origami Ghost
It’s not unusual to see elements of Asian culture in streetwear designs nowadays, but Origami Ghost is interesting in that it based its entire concept around it. Launched in late 2010, the Vancouver-based brand has already built up a formidable presence. Their branding is fantastic, with a website head and shoulders above most indie brands of similar age. Its bold graphics reflect the general aesthetic, style, and even color palette of the designs. As for the designs themselves, you’ll see a lot of recognizable pieces of Asian culture, including Japanese lanterns, the iconic maneki neko (“lucky cat”), and Godzilla. The store stocks t-shirts (of course), sweatshirts, hats, and sizes for women and kids. Oh, and all the tees are limited edition of 55.
Definitely worth checking out if you like unique street/skate wear!
Shirts: $32
Shipping: Starts at $8 within Canada.

Another inspired by Japanese culture this indie is well branded and we like that all shirts are limited to 55 per design, adding exclusivity, but exclusivity that comes at a price.
