About Make Believe
I was blown away when I first visited Make Believe Clothing Co., a new US brand with a stunning level of professionalism and branding ability. The style is reminiscent of classic American t-shirt styles, with plenty of vintage imagery, fonts, and distressing to go around. Not unlike shirts you’d find at stores like Abercrombie and American Eagle; it’s clear that Make Believe intends to reach customers beyond the usual t-shirt fans, and I can easily see them succeeding. In fact, their opening release has already sold out in several sizes.
I would be remiss in not mentioning the fantastic site design, which does wonders for the branding and overall feel of the clothing. The horizontal scrolling is creative and memorable. It is a little clumsy for people with smaller screens such as myself, but it’s not a huge issue.
Make Believe prints on American Apparel unisex tees.

It was like pulling teeth to get an email response from anyone at Make Believe. They have poor communication and poor customer service. Shipping took about 1 month. At least they got my order correct when they finally decided to ship it.
Make Believes vintage and american aesthetic is unparalleled in the directory, but with everything sold out there is no real to visit at the time of writing, unless you want to gawp at some very nice art you can’t buy. If you go there with a small screen and wonder where all the shirts are, scroll right.
