About LUVD
LUVD is a brand new company off to a great start. Their branding and site design are both fantastic, as are the model photos and color scheme — all of these things tell you a lot about LUVD before you even look at any of their shirts. LUVD is first and foremost a “lifestyle” brand — it places a very strong focus on community and living well. It’s actually pretty interesting to read how the founder came up with the idea for his brand, if you take the time; it’s clear that he’s put a lot of thought into the concept behind LUVD. The result is highly cohesive and professional.
The LUVD designs use a lot of soft pastel colors combined with blacks and greys. They lean towards more logo-based and simple designs as opposed to elaborate, artsy illustrations, but this approach works for the brand look. As far as branded tees go, these are good examples of how to do it right.
