About Hamburger Disco
Hamburger Disco is a Vancouver brand based on — yup! — the hamburger, one of the USA’s favorite foods. However, the brand was actually inspired by a trip to Japan, where the founders observed a nationwide celebration of the hamburger in the form of accessories, toys, street art, and more.
Like other food-themed indie brands (Johnny Cupcakes, Pyknic, etc.), Hamburger Disco’s tees mostly feature their hamburger icon. There’s a lot of different styles, all dominated by a bright color scheme. However, I find that this makes the brand lack cohesion and unity, especially since some of the designs are kind of weak. Nevertheless, there are more than a few designs worth checking out.

While sort of food themed, Hamburger Disco have branched out lately and now their line includes a number of excellent non-food related offerings. Doesn’t help with the overall unity of the brand, but does widen their potential appeal, at least in out opinion.
