About Fistful Apparel
Fistful Apparel is a brand-new clothing line by the artists behind Calavera Comics, a comic studio from Tampa, FL inspired by “cult and genre cinema, Japanese and European comics, Mexican culture, movie poster design, plus the whimsy and aesthetics of the Silver Age of Comic Books.” From reading that, you’d expect the shirts to be all kinds of awesome. We’re glad to report that they are. These tees are adorned with incredible comic-style illustrations I can only describe as “invigorating.” These designs seem to thrum with life, thanks to the deft hands of their makers. I also really enjoy the website design, which gives you a real sense of the brand and its style.
The shirts are currently on preorder, with plans to ship on or before April 21, 2010. They’re all printed on tri-blend and poly-cotton American Apparel tees, which are reputed to be extremely comfortable.
