About Carraway Clothing
Carraway Clothing is an American indie brand started by Ryan Miller when he was still in college, back in 2006. In addition to endorsing several well-known bands like A Day To Remember and Paramore, Carraway donates a portion of its profits to an organization called Invisible Children, which works to end the use of child soldiers in Uganda. It boasts a clean, aesthetically appealing site design that strikes a nice balance between minimalistic elegance and function.
Carraway’s “mascot” is — interestingly enough — a snail, who shows up in almost all of the designs. You wouldn’t expect a snail to be cute, but Carraway makes it happen. A variety of different art styles are used on the tees, from pseudo-80′s horror, to watercolor, to spoofs of famous punk albums. It makes up for what it loses in cohesiveness with quality; all of the designs are quite attractive. There also appears to be a loose retro/60′s pop culture vibe.
Shirts: $22

This brand has some strong pieces here and there, but it has remained stagnant since February/March ’11. Not much to see here.
