About Boomslank
Boomslank is a company dedicated to creating t-shirts bedecked in anime/manga-style illustrations. To be frank, wearing anime shirts in this part of the world generally brands you a social pariah (like wearing video game and comic shirts, though those appear to be more accepted nowadays), so I was a bit hesitant about checking this company out upon first discovering it. The illustrations, for the most part, fall on the subtle and artistic side, which I really like. With the exception of one of the more risque designs, the art is first and foremost about the art, not the style. It’s pretty inventive stuff and worth checking out if you’re into Japanese animation or comics.
