About Beautiful/Decay
Beautiful/Decay is the home of a plethora of gorgeous, artistic designs. It promotes artists and their work through both their designer t-shirt line and a series of magazines. You’ll find a lot of visual variety here — though most of the pieces fall under the “abstract art” umbrella, you’ll see that definition pushed and stretched in so many directions, it’s actually quite astounding. I especially recommend the designs by Aya Kato, who blends traditional Japanese scroll art with French noveau and anime/manga styles. B/D also stocks some tees by well-known arty brand Imaginary Foundation.
I like that B/D writes a bit about their talented artists next to each of their t-shirts — I find that nowadays, not enough brands take the time to give designers this simple but important recognition.
