About Bananas Tees
File this one under “Brands Started By Kickass Artists Who Should Have Struck Out On Their Own Long Ago.” The bizarrely-named Bananas Tees is the entrepreneurial effort of UK artist Dale Edwin Murray, one of the tee design world’s most respected names. Instead of sticking to design trends and themes, Dale will release whatever designs he likes best, whenever he wants. His opening line brings his charming, vaguely retro graphics to the fore in full force, all with a different theme and look; they remind me of the modern art pieces often seen in high fashion/designer brands, albeit at a fraction of the price.
