About American Apparel
You probably know American Apparel for their sweatshop-free, environmentally-conscious products, their controversial CEO, their equally controversial provocative advertising, or — most importantly — their ultra-comfy, super-soft 2001 and 2102 styles that have become the industry gold standard.
As classy as the blank tees, are, though, our focus is on graphic tees, so I should take the opportunity to point out that American Apparel has a growing collection of printed t-shirts. As is the AA style, these shirts lean a bit on the hipster/avant-garde side, but are sure to appeal to anyone who likes artsy, designer tees. A lot of these shirts are collaborations with pop culture personalities or brands. Others promote AA’s progressive stance on issues like immigration and gay marriage. And of course, you have shirts that are focused on straight-up design, including some sleek photo tees and tees based on the Helvetica alphabet.
Shirts: AA graphic tees seem to run the gamut from $15 to $38.
Shipping: US shipping is a $7 flat fee, but is FREE if you order over $75. International shipping is $20.

American Apparel is known as a hipster brand, and that’s the general crowd their graphic tees will appeal to. The quirky prints and designs will probably not be of much interest outside of that audience.
